Russian designer will launch its brand to the world with Italian partners.
Filippo Ceroni, a representative of the Italian company named Grazia Bagnaresi, the manufacturer of such successful Italian and world-famous brands as SI-JAY, MARCOBOLOGNA, MIA HATAMI invites Russian designers to participate in the competition. Filippo has noted the importance of the "made in Italy" label, due to the fact that this country is one of the leaders in the world fashion industry. Clothes manufacturing, for as pretentious as it may sound, is the Italians' field of expertise.
The aim of the contest is to find a designer for a new brand, the manufacturing of which will be launched at a factory belonging to Grazia Bagnaresi and which will be distributed via Studio Zeta. "It is very important for us to discover new names, the designer has to be young, skilled and ambitious. I see here a lot ideas and potential, as the Russian designers are incredibly talented people, while the Italian products have good reputation and are sought after. We should seek a way to combine these two features," the speaker said.
The applications to participate in the contest can be submitted until January 10, 2016. The winner of the contest will have an opportunity to launch the next collection in collaboration with the Italian partners at their manufacturing base. The collection will be presented to the international buyers at the Studio Zeta showroom in Milan.
All the terms and conditions are announced on the official website of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia (www.mercedesbenzfashionweek.ru). Professional designers having no less than three collections and under the age of 35 are invited to participate in the contest. The results of the contest will be announced on January 10, 2016.
