Pobeda Earned 37 Million Rubles Of Profit
March 28, 2016 13:02

Airlines “Pobeda” has earned 37 million rubles of profit with the estimated expenditures of 1.5 billion rubles. This is written in Vedomosti with a link to the links close to the mother company – Aeroflot. The revenue of the transport system was 11 billion rubles.

The analysts have claimed that the success came due to several factors: the airlines have got several new Boeings-737 which are used at an extremely high rate. They spend on average 14 hours per day in the air which makes one hour of operation cost less on average. Also the company has been doing a lot to save fuel: they removed the unnecessary equipment from the board, such as the ovens for preheating the food which resulted in the planes to lose weight – up to 1.5 ton each. This has decreased the cost of a flying hour by 380 rubles.

A boeing designed program to fly with only one steering wheel has saved around 100 kg of fuel for every flight. Another person close to the company said that the company doesn’t spend a lot on advertising and tries to save money on the personnel. On average one member of staff has transported over 5000 passengers on board of “Pobeda” airways even though the average rating across the globe is around 1000 passengers per member of staff. The lowcoster also has a zero credit portfolio so it doesn’t need to spend money on debts.
