Forbes first published the rating of the largest Russian oil buyers. It includes 20 companies and is based on the data on the volume of export transactions at the end of 2015. The buyers on the list are positioned according to the total cost of the energy carrier supplied to them.
The first place in the ranking is taken by the Swiss oil trader Litasco owned by “Lukoil”. According to the publication, the volume of purchases of the company amounted to 35.8 million tons, and the amount of contracts – to $ 13 billion. In addition to Russia, the company buys and sells crude oil and petroleum products on the Western and Middle Eastern markets.
