Chinese Company Plans to Produce Tea In Russia

One of the largest Chinese agricultural producers “Hunan Jinzhou Tea” plans to open a production facility of tea and canned fruits and juices in Moscow Oblast. This was reported to the “360” channel by the press service of the General Director of the Moscow Oblast Development Corporation Timur Andreev. According to Timur Andreev, Hunan province is implementing a joint project with the government of Tatarstan concerning the establishment of an agricultural park in the country.

“A joint project of this kind will also be implemented in Moscow Oblast. The Chinese investors expect to open an industrial park of food production in the region, it will be packaging tea products and make canned vegetables and juices” - he noted.

The Corporation will participate in the selection of the site for the park, as Timur Andreev told. As he said, it will also help in connecting the necessary infrastructure to this site and in giving it a status of an “industrial park”.
