The new rating of the world's largest companies of Forbes Global 2000 includes 27 Russian corporations, which is by two more than last year. The largest enterprise in the country is Gazprom, which took the 40th line of the list (53rd place last year). The rating was published on Wednesday, May 24, on the magazine's website.
The second-largest Russian company named by Forbes is Sberbank, which took the 56th place, the third line is taken by Rosneft, located on the 82nd place, the fourth – by "Lukoil" (129th place).
In addition, the list includes Surgutneftegaz (305th line), VTB (397th line), NOVATEK (542nd), Norilsk Nickel (586th), Transneft (658th) and a number of other major Russian companies, which total market value was estimated by the magazine's analysts at $ 455.8 billion, and total profit of $ 61.2 billion.
In total, the rating includes two thousand companies from 58 countries of the world, the total income of which is 35.3 trillion US dollars, the profit is 2.5 trillion US dollars, and the market value is 48.8 trillion US dollars (by 10 percent higher than last year).
The total value of assets included in the list of companies was estimated at 69.1 trillion US dollars.
