Aeroflot Is Leading On Transit Routes Between Europe And Asia

Aeroflot took the first place globally in providing mass transportation in the most competitive civil aviation market - the transit direction between Europe and Asia. It is noted that in the current summer season, Aeroflot managed to get ahead of the Lufthansa airlines, having put 1.84 million passenger seats only in the direction of "one way", increasing the corresponding indicator of 2016 by 12 percent. This data are specified by the portal Airline Network News & Analysis - one of the leading British analytical resources on aviation subjects.

The Russian air carrier also managed to bypass Turkish Airlines, AirChina, British Airways, KLM, Air France, SingaporeAirlines, which are listed in the top 15 in terms of capacity on these routes.

"The expansion of traffic on transit routes between Europe and Asia is one of the most important priorities of our strategy," said the CEO of Aeroflot, Vitaly Saveliev. "The data in the new international study confirms the high effectiveness of our efforts".
