Russian Entrepreneur Introduces Bitcoen
August 21, 2017 15:39

Russian entrepreneur Vyacheslav Semenchuk announced the release of a new crypto currency, which will function according to the rules of kashrut.

The new currency was called Bitcoen. The project of creating a monetary unit has secured the support of the Russian Jewish diaspora. As the press release notes, Bitcoen conforms to the Jewish law. In particular, every 10 percent of the units of the crypto currency will be transferred to the communities.

In addition, the participants of the system will be able to receive an interest-free loan. As “Vedomosti” writes, the Russian Jewish community is interested in the project - the currency could remove a number of problems with financial transactions in accordance with the Jewish law that has certain difficulties with traditional currencies.

The supervisory authority of the crypto currency will be the “Council of Six”. Each of these six people will be a member of the community, representing his or her own direction (business, politics, finance, technology, social activities, culture). Everyone will have one part of the private digital key. The council can make joint decisions only by putting six keys together in a special room and voting, for example, this relates to the decisions on limiting the withdrawal of new crypto currency units.
