September 18, 2017 22:24

For the first time Russia exported a lot of attack helicopters - Mi-28NE Night Hunter. This was announced by the Head of the Helicopters of Russia Holding, Andrei Boginsky.

"The delivery of Night Hunters is an extremely significant event for the Holding, as these helicopters set new standards in the world market of attack helicopters," he added.

Boginsky did not specify which country is the customer of helicopters. In June, the General Director of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, reported that currently there were contracts for the supply of 106 helicopters for a total amount of 4.7 billion US dollars.

Russia is supplying a wide range of combat helicopters abroad. In particular, a contract was signed for attack helicopter Ka-52 (Egypt), helicopter Mi-28NE (Algeria and Iraq), and Mi-35M is also a very popular model.
