According to the new law, if the owner of the aggregator provides the consumer with inaccurate or incomplete information about the product, service or seller, he/she will be responsible for the losses of the consumer.
Moreover, the aggregator will now have to return the prepayment to the consumer. For example, in case if goods are not delivered to the consumer on time and due to this the consumer refuses to purchase them. The draft law was developed by Rospotrebnadzor to protect the rights of consumers, who buy goods online.
