The number of subscribers of MTS is about 74.5 million, “Megafon” - about 69.5 million and “VympelCom” - 55.7 million users.

Tele2 can boast of approximately 34.9 million subscribers. The big three and Tele2 are followed by “Motiv” with 2.4 million users and “Smarts” whose base has about 1.1 million subscribers.

Thus, Yota won the seventh position in the ranking after the publication of the results of its first year as a mobile operator. The number of subscribers of virtual mobile providers in the Russian market makes up about two million people in the first quarter of 2015 or a little less than one percent.
