June 25, 2016 19:59

The format of a classical show and high end special effects, impressing choreographic and circus stunts, a fantasy plot and fascinating characters -  that is the updated version of the famous performance by the  Lenigrad of the Centre.

"Illusio. The Master of Dreams" is one of the Leningrad of the Center's most popular projects. This fantasy story about quest for inspiration and boundless power of human imagination integrates choreography and circus art, modern multimedia art and kinetic sculpture into a fabulous colourful show.

A flexible plot of The Master of Dreams makes it possible for its creators to experiment with the show's content and shape without changing its essence. In the updated version of the performance choreographers have focused on equilibristics and contemporary art, and at the same time gathered a fantastic troupe: the best actors of Russia as well as invited stars of the American Cirque du Soleil, the German GOP and the Swiss Conelli Circus are engaged in the show.

Choreography is accompanied with tremendous visual imagery created by the best designers, videographers and modern multimedia masters. A parallel dimension as the world of miracles and magic is embodied in three-dimensional graphic installations, video projections, complex kinetic scenery, and stage costumes by the leading Russian fashion designers turn actors into other-worldly creatures.

The shows will be performed on July 1, 2, 15, 16, and 30.
