The Root of the New festival is timed to the 310th anniversary of the Botanical Garden of the MSU and is taking place in the framework of the annual flowers, harvest and art festival Colours of Autumn. More than 30 famous artists of various genres and styles from Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, France, Ukraine, Sweden, the USA, the island of Martinique, India, and Russia are participating in the project.
According to the festival press service, the key task for artists is to convey relationship of the person and the nature, paying tribute to natural beauty of the Botanic Garden. The garden space has been turned into a peculiar story, which both the artist and the nature will tell to the viewers. Unique art objects will be found by public all around the garden, including its water reservoirs, as well as Palm and Succulent Greenhouses.
