Luminous art objects in the form of huge balls and arches, multilayered garlands and light fountains have adorned the streets of the New Year's capital city of Russia. Join the festival "Christmas Light" and take a rich variety of colorful winter selfies.
This is Moscow's second in scale and beauty winter festival, which runs on a par with the festival "Journey into Christmas." It is thanks to "Christmas Light" the capital city is now dressed in festive clothes and delights Muscovites and tourists alike with its radiance.
A great number of New Year's decorations, totaling to about 400 objects have been set up in the streets, squares, parks and cultural venues of Moscow. Flickering tunnels, arches and colorful light compositions that are familiar to last year's festival visitors are highlighted with new art objects.
Giant Christmas Tree Ball with Dance Floor Inside
The huge Christmas tree ball, which became a hit in the Manege area last winter, is located on the Poklonnaya Hill this year. A dance floor is arranged inside the structure, woven from 23 thousand light bulbs. There is enough space inside, because the ball's diameter makes 17 meters. Come and dance to Christmas and New Year tunes as well as songs about Moscow.

Music Forest
A magic Music Forest have grown in the fountain place in the Pushkin Square. The forest-like light installation moves to show fabulous mini-performances, followed with New Year and Christmas melodies. Every show lasts for about 10 minutes.
Fairy-Tale Wood
You can enjoy a winter stroll among enchanting sparkling trees, entwined with lights, in the area of Kuznetsky Most and Rozhdestvenka. There is a children's fair here as well.
Luminous Maze
An illuminated complex construction with numerous turns and corners - as befits a real maze - stands at the crossroads of Gazetny Lane and Tverskaya Street.
Lantern Goblets in Tverskaya Street
Tverskaya Street is decorated with glowing lights that look like champagne glasses. There are 64 six-meter "wine glasses" in total here. The view can be admired on both sides of the Tverskaya Street, from Manezhnaya Square to Pushkin Square. French designers were engaged in the street design.
Christmas Light will shine for two months long, from mid-December of 2016 to February 19, 2017.
