MYSTERIA is a large-scale event in the cultural life of the capital city of Russia. It is mysterious synergy of creative efforts by modern musicians, dancers, artists... and artists of the 18^th – 19^th centuries. The legendary atmosphere of the era, permeated with the idleness of the Russian estate, is paradoxically combined with nostalgically sophisticated courtesy.
It is not by mere coincidence that the festival has got its name, causing associations with the ancient Greek mysteries. The historical interiors of the aristocratic manor Arkhangelskoye will add to the magic effect gained with classical music performed by remarkable artists and illustrated by dancers.
The audience will discover the amazing contrasts of Argentine tango and flamenco of Andalusia, immerse in majestic organ masterpieces, enjoy the music of Russian ballet and light baroque concerts. Along with the classics, the festival program includes traditional Irish and Scottish melodies on bagpipes and Celtic harps, as well as hang drum. MYSTERIA will be crowned with the concert of perennial Mozart's compositions on August 26.

Vibrant explosions of rhythms, intricate twists of melodies, and infinite passion! World champion dance couple will be accompanied with Tango Orchestra Misterioso performing masterpieces by Plaz, Bardi, and Gardel. Touch the miracle.
8 July 2017 - Organ, Bagpipes and Celtic Harps
The Arkhangelskoe museum-estate will be filled with the sounds of William Bird, Paul McFarlein, Robert Javadi, as well as traditional Irish and Scottish melodies played with organ, bagpipes and Celtic harps.
8 July 2017 - Flamenco of Andalusia.
The museum silence will inevitably explode with exciting Spanish rhythms and vivid southern passions.
9 July 2017 - Saxophone and Organ Virtuosos
The ancient organ, with more than thousand-year history, and the saxophone, born in the 19th century. One is an absolute classic and the other is the leader of jazz. The past, the present and the future of music will meet at the ancient estate of the Princes Yusupovs. Visitors will listen to melodies by West European composers.
