To enjoy bright fireworks in the sky, you do not have to wait for another holiday. In mid-August Moscow will be hosting the 3rd International Firework Festival ROSTECH. Leading pyrotechnics from around the world will demonstrate their mastery, to the accompaniment by Russian musicians.
Pyrotechnic novelties, headliners, daytime extreme show, children’s entertainment, jazz bands, and food court provided for two days of the fireworks festival Rostech will attract about two hundred thousand visitors. The theme of the festival this time is "Moscow on seven hills". Eight teams from various parts of the world will perform sky shows.
The first day, August 19, will show what teams from Austria, Armenia, Romania and Japan are capable of. On the second day, teams from Brazil, China, Croatia and Russia will demonstrate their skills.
This country will be represented by masters from St. Petersburg. They have prepared a grandiose firework show in honor of the 850th anniversary of Moscow and the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. In 9 minutes each team will demonstrate 3 firework compositions. The show starts at 9 pm.
In the afternoon, visitors will find all sorts of active entertainment, including workout, streetball and aquabike competitions, as well as poetic contests, master classes, and a book fair. Moreover, there will be high tech shows, quests, lectures, a craft market and even a historical food court! The festival will be accompanied with music by the bands Spleen, Uma2rman, Turertsky Choir and Soprano. Concert part starts at 6:30 pm.
