What does Boris Grebenshchikov have to do with this?
Boris Grebenshchikov is the ideological inspirer and art director of the festival. It is he who has selected musicians for all the stages of "Parts of the World". Just like for his weekly radio program "Aerostat", the musician selects those musicians whose music he loves most and personally enjoys listening to.
In addition, his band Aquarium will perform a special "international" program jointly with the festival participants.
The major intrigue of the upcoming event will be the performance of Terakaft from Mali, which plays Tuareg blues and makes a musical revolution among African sands. In addition to these exotic guests, the festival will present Georgian pilgrims Mgzavrebi, the Irish folk veterans Flook, the Austrian project of hang drum virtuoso Manu Delago, the flagship of the British ska The Beat, the Aquarium band with a special program and other stars of world music in all its international diversity.

The Tuva group Yat-Ha is a rock and roll project, with its music combining the mysterious energy of boundless Tuvan steppes and the drive of modern rock music, Tuvan throat singing and various music instruments.
Flook, the Irish project of flute virtuoso Brian Finnegan, who is a permanent creative associate of Boris Grebenshchikov, is the best folk band according to the BBC Radio version.
The Beat feat. Ranking Roger, a British ska revival band, has developed its inimitable style, the alternation of traditional pop vocal and Jamaican DJ's manner.
Manu Delago is one of the world’s best hang drummer, percussionist, producer and composer. Juan José Mosalini is one of the greatest masters of modern tango.
