Rejoice in "Moscow Spring A Capella" Festival
April 27, 2018 17:20

Moscow is going to bloom and sing again: from April 27 to May 9 the capital city of Russia will be hosting the festival "Moscow Spring A Capella". Free open-air concerts will be arranged in squares and parks, on rooftops and balconies of Moscow.
If the spirit of spring makes you feel like singing, do not hold back. Sing along to participants of the international contest "Moscow Spring A Capella", which will decorate this spring in the capital city. This year, 1500 performers from 22 countries will take part in the competition. In total, 38 venues around Moscow are going to host more than a thousand performances. Concerts stages will be arranged in the central area of the city. However, it is going to go beyond conventional formats. Just like last year, the festival program has a place for several unusual concerts on balconies, roofs and in other unexpected places. Thus, for example, walking along Rozhdestvenka Street, one can hear singing from the balcony of the hotel "Savoy". Small performance companies will be found on the balcony of the "Izvestia" newspaper’s building.
Festival visitors will be pleased not only with excellent sound, but with musical diversity as well. After all, "A Capella" is not only classical music, but also jazz, rock, hip-hop and reggae. Festival venues are traditionally decorated with flowers and art objects with spring gusto.
