In 2018, popular REN TV festival "Military Secret" will be held in Triumphal Square right after the procession of the military machinery of the Victory Parade. The festival host Igor Prokopenko will present a concert of popular music bands and prize drawings.
The visitors will find themselves right at the heart of May 9 celebrations. In the morning, the military machinery of the Victory Parade will drive along the Tverskaya Street. The Immortal Regiment will march in the same street in the middle of the day.
The festival program includes a military orchestra, professional dancers in topical stage costumes and invited accordionists who will perform military songs and melodies of the 1940s.
Air balloons and Victory day badges will be distributed near the festival stage. In the same venue you can receive free holiday cards with commemorative autographs by Igor Prokopenko, the host of the "Military Secret".
Famous Russian musicians will perform on the stage of Triumfalnaya Square. The band 25/1, Sergey Galanin with the Serga band, the Utah band, Alexander F. Sklyar with Va-Bank band, Sergey Bobunets will take part in the live concert.
The main event of the festival is traditionally the speech of Igor Prokopenko. He will tell about the exploits of Soviet soldiers during the Great Patriotic War, about the new discoveries of the "Military Secret" telecast, about the current situation in the world as well as about the past, present and future of Russia. After his speech, the popular journalist will answer to the audience’s questions.
In addition, visitors of the festival will have a chance to win prizes in the quiz of the REN TV channel. Questions will be asked from both the stage and amidst the crowd, by animators in military uniform. The most active participants will be announced by Igor Prokopenko personally.
At 10 pm, after the concert, the Victory Salute will take place over the Triumph Square. Up to 4 thousand fireworks of various colors, calibers and patterns will be shot off into the sky over Moscow.
