The Festival “Moscow Urban Forum 2018” will take place in the Zaryadye Park of Moscow from July 17 to 22.
"Linking Generations" is the motto and the key theme of the festival. The central urban venue of ​​Russia welcomes all those interested in their city and concerned about its future.
MOSCOW URBAN FORUM is the largest international congress dedicated to the challenges in the development of global megacities. The forum has been held annually since 2011.
MOSCOW URBAN FORUM brings together representatives of city administrations of Russia and other countries, as well as architects, city planners, developers, financial company managers, investors, technological start-ups, media representatives and citizens.


The lecture and educational part of the Festival is aimed at formulating clear answers to pressing questions. It will feature famous Russian and foreign architects, economists, scientists, and business representatives in the format of lectures and discussions.
In the framework of cultural, entertainment and sports programs, visitors will see premieres of films about the world's megacities, competition of city start-ups, theatrical and musical performances and urban master classes. Besides, they will have an opportunity to taste street food from the best Moscow gastronomic start-ups, sign up for excursions and quests around the capital city of Russia, participate in a photo exhibition, dance a waltz on the stage of an amphitheater, attend a large concert of independent experimental music by performers from all over the world, and even exercise in the park.
There will be excursions provided and stories about the architecture and mythology of Moscow told, as well as the best routes for architectural walks around the city. In total, more than 100 educational and entertainment events will take place on the territory of Zaryadye.

Among the lecturers, there is the cult Dutch architect and theorist Rem Koolhaas, the founder of the Creative Class group Richard Florida, the author of books on technology policy and artificial intelligence and the media Darrell West and many others.
The accordionist Mario Batkovich, the Fogh Depot team, the singer Jekka with the female choir and Long Arm DJ in the company of drummer Ruslan Gadzhimuradov from St. Petersburg will perform on the stage of the big amphitheater. Playtronica Studio and musician Mitya Burtsev will play an amazing city symphony.
On July 22, the organizer of the Gagarin Party, Oleg Tsodikov, will present the Made In Dance encyclopedia album on the national club life of the 90's and draw prizes.
On July 21 and 22, the festival visitors will have a chance to establish their genotype and test their stress resistance. Moreover, there will be film screenings, as well as yoga, capoeira and dance lessons.
Apart from that, the festival Moscow Urban Forum 2018 provides an extensive children's program. For the youngest townspeople, there will be dance and sports events, workshops, performances and lectures organized.
