On September 8 and 9 the whole of Moscow will be celebrating the City Day. The number of events going to take place in Moscow at this weekend is breath-taking. So there is a wide range of celebrations to select from.

Opening Ceremony of the Moscow Concert Hall "Zaryadye"
If you want to witness of a truly historic event, feel free to visit the concert hall "
Zaryadye", which promises to become the best one in this country, and not without reason. Firstly, its acoustics have been mastered by Japanese engineers, who had earlier put their hand to the Hamburg Philharmonic and the Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles. Secondly, the Russian National Orchestra under the conductorship of renowned Mikhail Pletnev has already run a test drive of this concert hall.

Of course, the main reason to visit the "Zaryadye" Hall on the Moscow City Day 2018 will be a star lineup to appear on its stage. They are going to be Anna Netrebko, Diego Flores, Albina Shagimuratova and Yusif Eyvazov. They will give a festive concert on September 8, and the next day the Russian National Orchestra will perform there.

Christ the Savior Cathedral
A concert will be held in front of the Christ the Savior Cathedral from 12 am to 9 pm on Saturday, September 8. It will be a real gift to classical music lovers. At the same time, the Tsvetnoy Boulevard will become the venue for the festival "Kind Moscow 2018", which gathers all the indifferent townsfolk from year to year. In the exhibition format, the largest charitable and public organizations will tell about those in need of help and support, and air socially significant problems of Moscow. All comers will have a chance to take part in creative master classes and purchase goods made by the persons under care of charity funds. Be sure, the collected funds will be used on charity.


In addition, as part of the festival, you will have an opportunity to join a charity race. To do this, it is enough to register on the site. The festival in Tsvetnoy Boulevard will be crowned with a large concert as a token of gratitude to all participants of Kind Moscow 2018.
Arbat Street
Moscow is famous not only for its monuments, attractions, bright lights and parks. It is famous for the people of Russian culture and arts, who lived here at different times. The festival "Moscow tells ..." will be dedicated to them on September 8. Several Moscow cultural organizations have joined together to create a project that includes storytelling, a concert, drama and poetic stories, as well as exhibitions of photos, lithographs and engravings. The festival program will be opened by well-known Russian opera singer Eugene Kungurov at noon. The final of the celebrations in Arbat on September 8 will be a concert of the famous Russian jazz trumpeter Vadim Eilenkrig.

The brightest event of the festival - the firework show that is traditionally awaited by everyone - will start at 9 pm on September 8. The fireworks will be displayed in 27 venues, including Luzhniki, Moscow River Bridge, the Victory Park in Poklonnaya Hill, the ENEA, and others.
