Ecotourism in Russia
The thoroughly selected photo exposition shows the many-sided nature of Russia to visitors. Landscapes of the most remote and beautiful nooks of this country as captured by the best photographers produce an indelible impression.
Unique, almost psychological portraits of wild animals make us wonder whether we know it all about the inhabitants of our planet Earth.
The exposition is divided into several climatic zones: the Arctic desert, tundra, forest-tundra, taiga, forest, and forest-steppe zones, steppe, semi-desert, and desert. In each of the zones, you can see the unique natural landscapes of Russia and get acquainted with their inhabitants.

Winners of the All-Russian Children's Photography Competition will also take part in the project. Despite their age, lots of young photographers managed to take high-end pictures. Experienced masters specializing in wildlife photography appreciated these works.
The members of the China Wildlife Conservation Association will be the guests of honour at the festival. Their works will acquaint visitors with unique landscapes and animals that are characteristic of their country.

Of particular interest are the wildlife images taken by a Hungarian photographer near a nuclear power plant. Vincze Balint with his photographs proves that the work of a nuclear power plant does not have to entail negative consequences for the environment.
Another exhibition of the festival deserves special attention. Its organizer is the international information agency Russia Today. A series of photos tells about the life of the famous Russian recluse Agafya Lykova. This old woman lives in the wild forests of Siberia, far from civilization, where her life depends on herself only. In addition to photos, the exhibition organizers provide additional materials – having downloaded a special application, you will learn more about the recluse and her life.
