The largest festival of fancy dresses and trending music returns to Saint Petersburg and featurs Audiofly, Timujin, Parallels, Monolink, and many others.
June 29, 2019, will see a fancy-dress night music Odyssey Festival held in one of the world’s largest Planetarium and the Lumiere Hall interactive museums of St. Petersburg. There will be unique decorations, photo zones and performances of electronic music world stars. The most large-scale fancy-dress event in St. Petersburg will unfold in three huge old gas-holders and the adjacent territory of the festival.
For 12 hours, the northern capital city of Russia will turn into Atlantis.
The Odyssey Festival is the symbiosis of art, music, freedom, and energy that drives people and shapes the world around us.
The heroes of the world's leading festivals will arrange an unforgettable immersion in the world of music and magic, with flying gymnasts, giants and the mysterious atmosphere of long-forgotten worlds. More than 15 musicians from around the world will create a unique festival atmosphere.
Visitors are most welcomed to wear fancy dresses and vestments of ethnic, oriental and steampunk themes. You can get those outfits right at the festival, in the concept market area.
The festival territory will consist of several zones. Thus, in the chillout space of The Dome, you can enjoy the sound of ancient exotic music instruments, whereas the Flying Circus site will bring together leading electronic musicians from Spain, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Russia. The music concerts will be decorated with a staged show with gymnasts and giants of fancy worlds.
In the Lumière Hall, slow desert rhythms will accompany a changing circular panorama.
ATMOSPHERE
A special part of the festival will be played by the Concept Market with rare goods, clothes and artifacts from around the world, as well as a green food court with healthy treats.
Visitors will have an opportunity to rent the fancy costumes here and reincarnate on their own or with the help of stylists and makeup artists in the concept market zone. Those who arrive in fancy dresses will be welcomed with pleasant surprises at the entrance.
Dress-code: Atlantis, Hyperborea, Steampunk, Ethnica, Oriental, Burning Man.
LOCATION
Planetarium 1 and Lumière Hall is a modern high tech venue, a unique creative space, located on the embankment of the Obvodnoi Canal of St. Petersburg. It is a projector museum with state-of-the-art multimedia equipment. For one night long, all the gas holders of the Planetarium, Lumiere Hall and the surrounding area will be magically transformed, decorated with thousands of garlands and populated by fairy-tale characters.

Here we want to fundamentally revamp the concept of parties and festivals and make them truly alive. We want to make this event as a little journey, so when a person enters it they become part of the play, of that magical holiday atmosphere that we have been looking for so long”, - Alexey Izotov, the festival art director, co-founder, musician, and producer, points out.
