June 29, 2019 19:14

Meet the Tinkoff Stereoleto 2019 featuring soul singer Rag'n'Bone Man, cult Russian pop rock band Mumiy Troll, fascinating Norwegian singer AURORA (for the first time in Russia!), the most talked about IÑ3PEAK band and the most soulful and furious American band, Algiers! And there is more!
One of the brightest summer festivals in Russia will delight visitors with the concerts of grandiose headliners and promising newcomers of the Russian and foreign music stage, as well as a modern art exposition, a large-scale food court, an extensive entertainment program for people of all ages, and other pleasant surprises.

Russia's first independent annual music festival STEREOLETO has long been on the list of one hundred symbols of St. Petersburg, along with the Hermitage Museum, drawbridges and Zenit.

From its very start in 2001, the festival has been selecting its lineup from musicians who are at the forefront of the modern music industry. Over 18 years, an incredible number of first-rate musicians have performed on STEREOLETO: Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Massive Attack, Ñrystal Castles, Air, Regina Spektor, Gus Gus, David Byrne, Royksopp, Future Sound of London, Bueno Vista Social Club, 5NIZZA, Ivan Dorn and over 700 more performers, both from Russia and abroad.

A part of this list consists of famous names, the arbiters of music of the 20th – 21st centuries. Another part of the musicians was discovered to the general public thanks to the festival itself. The STEREOLETO Festival is free from genre limits and chooses its participants not because of their commercial success and hype, but based on the performers’ individuality, talent and cultural significance.
