A couple of centuries ago only the richest people could afford their portrait painted by an artist. With the development of photography, science and technical progress photography became more available for the greater number of people. The real golden age of photography began in the early XX century, when photo studios appeared in many cities. The museum remakes their interiors with unchanged puppies and kittens, all photos of those years breeze with mannerism, stiff poses.
