This unique venue focusing on media art was opened in the middle of October, 2014 and at once stirred keen interest among Muscovites and tourists. After all its unusual expositions are dedicated to the rapidly developing electronic and interactive art.
The museum curators – well-known artists Alexey Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev – believe that modern technologies will shortly occupy their niche in modern art.
The museum holds exhibitions of media art by both Russian and foreign authors. Besides, it is a popular venue for modern music concerts, as well as educational lectures and seminars.
Thus, the museum already presented a unique sound installation by the musician Markus Popp and the polyscreen project Trample by Mikhail Maximov, as well as sound installations by Herman Vinogradov and Peter Zinovyev.
The visitors can always see here the museum's permanent exposition of interactive constructions designed by the Electrobutik team.

The training results in short-length films made by the pupils. Children can also learn the skills needed for animation and master animation software. As for adults, they can take the course in Graphic Design.
