BULTHAUP Design Gallery in Saint Petersburg
January 24, 2016 15:09

Everything started by mere chance: the future founder of the gallery Lina Perlova noticed two books with the strange word bulthaup on the cover.
Thus Lina Perlova learned about the activity of the German company founded by Martin Bulthaup in 1949. She was so amazed by the contents of these books that she decided to quit her job and work with the bulthaup brand. In December, 1995 she organized the first Russian exhibition of the design kitchen furniture created by this German enterprise.
18 years passed. Now the Design/Bulthaup Gallery consisting of a few studios embracing all directions of modern design is the largest interior gallery in Saint Petersburg, and  a design center highly acknowledged in this country and abroad.
Now it focuses on icons of avant-garde design, creates interiors of enormous public buildings and small private apartments.
The center holds meetings with top world designers, their lectures and master classes, presentations of poetic collections, tasting of collection wines, diplomatic parties and jam sessions.
The open hours are from 11 am to 8 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednsesday, Thursday, and Friday and from 11 am to 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Design/bulthaup Gallery is located at the address 2, Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street, near the Nevsky Prospect metro station, Saint Petersburg.
