Erarta, the largest international project in the sphere of the Russian modern art, is a must see for those who want to get closer to the rich culture of Russia. The museum is housed in a five-floor building in St. Petersburg. One wing is occupied with a permanent exposition of the Erarta Museum - the largest private collection of modern Russian art consisting of 2300 works by 250 artists from all the regions of this country. Two more wings are given to temporary expositions and annually hold more than thirty exhibitions.
Erarta is a hive of activity: almost every day events of various formats (such as performances, concerts, film screenings, lectures, recitals, and conferences) take place in the multifunctional well-equipped transformable hall for 1100 visitors.
St. Petersburg also boasts a branch of the international network of the Erarta Galleries in London and Hong Kong, where visitors have an opportunity to purchase works of modern art.
Visitors are provided with all the conditions required for an engaging and comfortable visit: modern interiors, convenient navigation, free Wi-Fi, friendly staff and high level of service make every visit enjoyable. The museum building has a restaurant with a summer terrace, a coffee house, as well as souvenir, reproduction and book shops.
The most valuable collections of the Erarta Museum are modern Russian art works of painting, graphic, and sculpture by Felix Volosenkov, Vladimir Dukhovlinov, Pyotr Gorban, Anatoly Zaslavsky, Valery Lukka, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Vitaly Pushnitsky, Nikolay Sazhin, Elena Figurina, and many others.
