Best Waltzes - Concert of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra in Moscow Kremlin

May 25, 2018 will see fascinating waltzes of various times and peoples performed on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace of Moscow.
One of Russia’s best music crews - the E.F. Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia will play wonderful melodies for you under the conductorship of Fabio Mastrangelo, a renowned Italian-Russian conductor and pianist.
The Best Waltzes concert will feature instrumental works by eminent composers such as: Khachaturian, Strauss, Glinka, Chopin, Sviridov, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and others.
Fabio Mastrangelo is one of the most popular conductors of Russia and the world. Maestro is the art director of the St. Petersburg State Theater "Music-Hall", the art director and chief conductor of the Northern Symphony symphonic orchestra of the Theater "Music-Hall", the chief conductor of the Simphonica Artica orchestra of the Yakut State Philharmonic, the main guest conductor of the Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra and Kolobov Moscow Theater “New Opera”, and a guest conductor of the Mariinsky Theater.
In June 2016 he received the title of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Fabio Mastrangelo performs with prestigious music collectives of Moscow, namely the E.F. Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia", "Virtuosos of Moscow", as well as the orchestras of the St. Petersburg and Moscow Philharmonic.
The musician is a regular participant of the famous festival "Arena di Verona" (Italy) and art director of the St. Petersburg International Open-Air Festival "Opera to All". In August 2013, Fabio Mastrangelo was appointed the art director of the St. Petersburg State Theater "Music Hall." In 2015, the maestro founded the Chamber Orchestra "Northern Symphonietta" at the Theater "Music-Hall".
June 1, 2016 marked the beginning of the orchestra "Northern Symphony" under the conductorship of the maestro in the Theater "Music Hall".
The E.F. Svetlanov State Orchestra of Russia has been the pride of the national music culture for 80 years now.
Concerts of the State Orchestra of Russia have been a howling success in the world’s most famous halls in New York, Washington, Vienna, London, Paris, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo as well as in Russia, of course.
In different years the orchestra was led by outstanding conductors: Alexander Gauk, Nathan Rakhlin, Konstantin Ivanov, Vasily Sinaisky, and Yevgeny Svetlanov. At present, the art director of the State Orchestra is world-famous conductor Vladimir Yurovsky.
