Natalya Sats' Children Musical Theatre - the first musical theatre for children in the USSR, named after the great cultural figure Natalya Ilyinichna Sats. The theatre specializes in opera, ballet and dramatic productions for children. The world's first professional theatre for children, it is perhaps best known internationally as the birthplace of Sergei Prokofiev's
Peter and the Wolf. The theater now stages approximately 30 operas and ballets a year, not for children only but also such plays as Madam Butterfly or Eugene Onegin.

Yuri Kuklachev’s Cat Theatre - a unique place not only in Moscow but in the world, which shows amazing perfomances with trained cats and other animals. V. L. Durov Animal Theater - famous family theatre in Moscow, found by Russia's great circus actor, clown, trainer and writer, Vladimir Leonidovich Durov. The main theatre's actors are animals - elephants, pelicans, hippopotamus, raccoons, ravens. All the animals are trained according to the unique Durovs family method - without any violence. So the theatre's stagings are full of warmth and kindness, and children can see that it is possible to treat animals friendly and gently.
