A new cultural venue of Leningrad Center has been opened in the building of the former panoramic cinema "Leningrad" in the Tauride Garden.
Leningrad Center boasts a high-tech theater hall, an exhibition gallery, several music bars and a panoramic restaurant.
The new space is closely connected with the history of the place where it is housed. Throughout the century, various cultural events took place in the building to the north-east of Tauride. Before the revolution, exhibitions of the Imperial Horticulture Society were held here, and from the middle of the 20th century the cinema "Leningrad" was located in this building.
The opening of Leningrad Center has been supported by an international expert team. Particular importance in the creation of the center has been given to modern technical equipment: IMAX technologies, media screens, kinetic chandeliers, the newest acoustic equipment and light technologies.
Being a cultural venue of a new format, Leningrad Center is state-of-the-art platform for development of modern theater and multimedia art.
Leningrad Center is located at the address: 4, Potemkinskaya Street, next to Chernyshevskaya metro station, Saint Petersburg.
