September 7, 2018 10:11

The Green Theater of Stas Namin presents an interactive multimedia art location with a large-scale sphere-shaped screen in Moscow. The site can be easily turned into a cinema, a theater with digital decorations or a dance floor for virtual immersion parties.
The opening of the project "AtmaSphere 360" was celebrated with Immersive Art Street Festival in Gorky Park, Moscow, on August 25 and 26, 2018.

The immersive creative platform "AtmaSfera 360" was founded in the space of the Stas Namin Theater by the Fulldome pro.Co., Ltd. jointly with the 360ART team. The founder and art director of the "Green Theater" personally supported the project.
Immersion
In Sanskrit, “atma” means “soul”. AtmaSphere 360 facilitates the immersion into the very essence of art and tackling its innermost depths.
AtmaSphere 360 is a creative platform that is located under the dome of a spherical screen measuring 550 square meters. The screen surrounds the audience from all sides and thus creates the effect of complete immersion into virtual reality.

The extreme image quality - 4K - is superior to Full HD and image quality in modern cinemas. Videos are complemented with highly professional soundtracks. Russian and foreign artists develop the extraordinary visual content of the prject.
Generative graphics, digital art, live shows, professional animation, modern visual effects, feature films on the domed screen - all of that can be seen at the AtmaSphere 360.

Explore Modern Art
Spherical cinemas operate at major festivals: Burning Man, New York Panorama, Coachella, etc.

The opening of the AtmaSphere 360 was celebrated with the Street Festival of Immersive Arts. For two days, on August 25 and 26, nine creative sites of the project held master classes, events and meetings for adults and children. Visitors to AtmaSphere had an opportunity to watch movies on a giant screen, attend yoga classes, play games and take selfies in interactive photo areas. To feel the energy and drive of mass performances with three-dimensional art objects, admire creative graffiti and monumental art, listen to live music - these are just a few things the visitors enjoyed.
