In the spring of 2019, Moscow and Saint Petersburg will host a magnificent circus show themed on the famous Avatar blockbuster.
The famous star troupe of Cirque Du Soleil does not cease to surprise the viewer with great acting, the highest level of choreography and true circus art. Most importantly, the show Toruk. The First Flight will strike all with the incredible power of imagination and tremendous special effects, which will make the performance unforgettable.
The show is a spectacular spin-off of James Cameron’s Avatar movie, the groundbreaking blockbuster that collected over $2.7 billion in the global distribution.
Toruk. The First Flight telling an ancient legend of the Na'vis people will take the viewers to the world of Pandora impregnated with fantastic wonders, discoveries, and opportunities.
Toruk Show – an Ancient Legend of Pandora
The show Toruk. The First Flight was inspired by the story of the mysterious realm shown in the Avatar movie. However, in the show written and directed by Michel Lemieux, the adventures of the heroes in the mysterious world take place long before people appear on this planet. The dwellers of Pandora find out that the sacred Soul Tree is threatened by a natural disaster, and that means that all the inhabitants of the planet may die too. They can be saved by Toruk only, so this mysterious orange creature has to be found to save the world from a terrible tragedy.

Two young men named Ralu and Entu fearlessly decide to undertake the rescue of their native land. Having learned that Toruk can help them to save the Soul Tree, they and their newly found girlfriend Ts'yal set off on a dangerous journey along the tops of the Soaring Mountains to find the red-orange predator, the ruler of Pandora’s heaven. The prophecy comes true when a pure soul becomes the leader of all clans, rides out Toruk for the first time and saves the world of Na'vis from perishing.
About the Circus Show Toruk
A large team of well-known directors, screenwriters, decorators, choreographers, fireworks and other experts worked on this show of stunning scale and beauty. As a result, here comes a great performance with mind-blowing scenery and special effects.
For two hours of the show, Toruk gives no single chance to the public to distract from the events on the stage. While 19 kites are soaring high up, huge fantastic dolls are living on the ground, with 115 images replacing each other as the story unfolds. All the events on stage are lit by more than 40 projectors, which create the atmosphere of magic and mystery.
