MEPhI has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists. Nobel Prize winners, members of Russian Academy of Sciences and winners of different National Prizes are among its graduates. Today MEPhI and its six branches enroll about 6,000 students. The mission of the University is to advance learning process through integration of teaching, research and assistance. The most important component of being educated in MEPhI is combination of physics and mathematics fundamental knowledge with profound engineering skills, enabling students to solve current problems of contemporary science and modern industries. MEPhI has a well-balanced system of training students to perform independent research. Moscow Engineering Physics Institute practices training of senior students at the research institutes of Russian Academy of Sciences and at industrial laboratories.
Courses taught in English are available for groups of no less than 10 students.
