Dates in History
1921—Andrey Sakharov, physicist, is born.
He is one of the creators of the hydrogen bomb (1953) in the USSR. He is also occupied with public works, which leads to receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1975. In 1976 Sakharov is elected vice-president of the International League for Human Rights.
