Dates in History
1931—The Moscow Gypsy Theatre Romen is created.
Thus far it is the only professional Gypsy theatre in the world.

1916—Grigory Rasputin dies.
Siberian starets who gains influence over the Empress Alexandra due to his abilities to cure her son Alexey of hemophilia. In order to neutralize his influence over the Empress a group of noblemen decides to kill Rasputin. They poison him, then shoot and afterwards drown in Neva River.

1872—Anton Denikin, lieutenant-general, monarchist, is born.
When the Civil war breaks out Denikin takes the monarchists’ side and fights against Bolshevicks. First he becomes Commander in Chief of the Voluntary Army, then Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of South Russia.

1866—Vasily Kandinsky, abstract painter, is born.
