1932—Maya Kristallinskaya, stage singer , honoured artist of USSR, is born
Kristallinskay became famous after recording of the song "Masha" for the movie "Thirst" in 1960. Six years layer she was appreciated as the best stage singer of the year.Her most well-known songs are: "Tenderness" (rus. Nezhnost),"It rains in our city" (rus.V nashem gorode dozhd').

1747—Fyodor Ushakov, a celebrated naval commander never defeated in sea battles, is born.
