1937—Bella Akhmadulina, poetess, is born.
Bella Akhmadulina enters Russian Literature pantheon in 1950-1960s, when Soviet people are literally obsessed with poetry. She becomes one of the brightest stars of the 1960s generation along with Voznesensky, Yevtushenko, Rozhdestvensky, and Okudzhava.
