1937—Bella Akhmadulina, poetess, is born.
Bella Akhmadulina enters Russian Literature pantheon in 1950-1960s, when Soviet people are literally obsessed with poetry. She becomes one of the brightest stars of the 1960s generation along with Voznesensky, Yevtushenko, Rozhdestvensky, and Okudzhava. They all play major part in renascence of public self-conscious in the period of “thaw” in the USSR.
