1883—Semen Budyonny, Marshall, three-times hero of the USSR, Commander of the 1st Cavalry Army, is born.
In 1937, the year when most of the repressed during Stalin’s reign are being captured, police forces try to arrest Budyonny at his dacha, but he takes on all-round defence and fires back using machine-guns. When Stalin is informed of the incident, he recalls police troops and orders Budyonny to surrender. Later the Marshall tells that he’s given up only two machine-guns, while leaving another four in the garret.
