1895—Famous ballet dancer Olga Spesivtseva was born.
Possessing a perfect technique,this ballerina performed the main roles in "Swan lake","Giselle","The Sleeping Beauty". Apart from working with Russian choreographers,Olga also was taking part in American and French perfomances.

1812—Ivan Aleksandrovich Goncharov, Russian writer, is born.
He is the author of famous novels Oblomov, Obyknovennaya Istoria (A Common Story) and Obryv (The Precipice).
