1959—International airport Sheremetyevo opens in Moscow.
Sheremetyevo carries about 60% of Moscow air traffic. It has always been and continues to be the major and most noteworthy airport in the country. For the long history of its existence, Sheremetyevo has acquired more than 100 clients that are the biggest, well-known airlines all over the world.

1337—Saint Sergiy Radonezhskiy founded the convent
Sergiy Radonezhskiy founded the monasery of Troizk,which turned afterwards in Troize-Sergieva Lavra,one of the most honoured monasteries for Russians.
