Russian medics now have a totally safe reagent, based upon ascorbic acid, for development of X-ray images. The reagent was created in Novosibirsk, Siberian flag-city of Russian science.
When medics develop X-ray images, they expose their health to a great danger, since a film is treated with carcinogens. Now a new vitamin C-based reagent eliminates the danger of carcinogenesis in medics, who have to deal with X-raying.
The reagent was registered with Russian Ministry of Health on April 12, 2010, and is now available in large hospitals of Novosibirsk.
