Dick Advocaat has become Russian national team coach

The Russian Football Union president Sergei Fursenko has officially announced the name of a new main coach of the Russian national team. Tomorrow May 18, the 62-year –old Dutch coach, Dick Advocaat will arrive in Moscow. At the meeting of the Russian Football Union Mr. Advocaat is to tell how he sees the Russian national team under his leadership. The details of the period and the conditions of the contract have not been disclosed yet. Dick Advocaat will replace Guus Hiddink, who was the Russian national team coach since 2006. Mr. Advocaat was known to terminate his contract with the Football Federation of Belgium in April this year and declared his intention to sign a new contract with the Russian Football Union.
