A ferry boat makes trips between the Olkhon Island in the Baikal Lake and the mainland. It has already become popular among the tourists, visiting the Lake of Baikal.
      
      According to the sources, the “Olkhonskiye vorota” ferry boat will make 10 trips a day till the June, 15, when the number of the services is supposed to be increased to 14 in connection with the peak of the tourist season. The amount of trips depends on the demand for them. On the October, 15 the ferry boat will finish the service and resumes it next year.
      
      The Island of Olkhon is the most popular place for holiday on Baikal Lake. It takes 4 hours to get there from Irkutsk. The trip includes bus (or car) and ferry boat. The water trip takes from half an hour to one hour and a half.
