Tarkovsky Festival Names its Winners

The film Forbidden Fruit by director Dome Karukoski (Finland) has taken the Grand Prix of the 4th Andrei Tarkovsky International Film Festival Zerkalo (The Mirror).
      
       Zerkalo has been held annually in the native place of Andrey Tarkovsky in Ivanovo Region since 2007.
      
      Chairman of the international jury - film director Kim Dong Ho, the president of the Pusan International Film Festival – handed the main prize to the winner at the closing ceremony in the Palace of Arts in Ivanovo on Sunday, May, 30th.
      
      Marjut Maristo and Amanda Pilke starring in Forbidden Fruit have been awarded as the best actresses.
      
      Yuriy Nazarov, who starred in Nosir Saidov’s True Noon (2009) has become the best actor.
      
      The jury has given the best direction prize to Soo-il Jeon for his work Himalaya, Where the Wind Dwells.
