James Cameron celebrates birthday on Baikal

James Cameron, producer of Titanic and Avatar is celebrating his 56th birthday on the lake of Baikal. The filmmaker has made a dive into the waters of the world-deepest freshwater lake on the MIR deep-diving vehicle.
      
      The famous producer has come to Irkutsk Region with his wife Susan and two ocean researchers. This experience is not the first one for James Cameron. He made a dive at a depth of 1000 metres in Atlantic ocean on the set of the film Titanic.
      
      This birthday on Baikal is one of Cameron's environmental actions. World famous film producer is worried about the problem of pollution of the lake. His action is supposed to draw attention to this problem. Moreover, Cameron had a meeting with governor of Irkutsk Region.
