Spartak and Rubin have known rivals in UEFA Champions League

Spartak Moscow will face off against London Chelsea in Group F in the Champions League. While Rubin Kazan will battle against Barcelona in Group D. On Thursday the 2010-11 UEFA Champions League draw took place in Monaco. The two Russian teams have to face the most powerful Europe teams. Spartak Moscow, coached by Valery Karpin, will play with Abramovich’s Chelsea. The aristocrats are the current English champions. They tend to become a leader in the Group F. The French Marseille and Slovakian Zilina play in the Group F as well. Rubin Kazan is placed in group D with Barcelona, Panathinaikos and Copenhagen. www.bbc.co.uk sportcom.ru
