Pyotr Konchalovsky Exhibition Opens in Moscow

Tretyakov Gallery is going to present the works by Pyotr Konchalovsky (18761956) one of the key figures of Russian art of the first half of the 20th century.
      The exposition with an emphasis on the period of Bubnovy Valet (Jack of Diamonds) is organized in the run-up to the centenary of his first exhibition Bubnovy Valet (December 1910)and foundation of the same-name art group (1911) headed by Pyotr Konchalovsky.
      The visitors will see about 90 works from museum and private collections.
      The exhibition is organized jointly with Pyotr Konchalovsky Foundation.
      The exhibition runs from September, 16th to November, 14th.
