Gardener Digs Out 400 Year-old Skeleton of Child

A farmer in Krasny Yar Village of Lubinsky District, Omsk Region has dug out a skeleton of a child in his garden. According to medicolegal investigation, the remains are over 400 years old and belonged to a child of 12 to 14 year of age.
      We have sifted heaps from the pit and found a stone arrowhead and a stone hatchet in the ground, - archeologist Albert Polevodov reported - it means that the farm owner Yury Dite has dug out an ancient entombment, which possibly dates back to the 6th century B.C.
      According to Albert Polevodov, there are no more than six burial grounds of the kind in the territory of the Omsk Region. Archeologists are going to find out if there are other tombs on Yury Dite's plot of land and so will start digging works there in spring. The land owner respects the request of scientists to wait a little with fence installation.
