37-year-old dweller of Primorski Krai Ruslan Vakhrushev has had passion for searching antiquities since childhood.
Truly interesting finds began to come his way only three years ago, when Ruslan Georgievich purchased a metal detector.
Now his collection boasts quite a number of ancient coins: Chinese, imperial and Soviet ones. The oldest of them was issued back in 1743. There are also several coins minted by Jurchens (a Tungusic people who inhabited the region of Manchuria until the 17th century) nine centuries back.
“I have never sold the finds though I regularly get tempting offers, - Ruslan Georgievich tells. - Usually I give finds over to the school museum. Some things I leave with myself. But I do not hide them. People often come to me from the settlement and arrive from the city to visit me. The house is open for all. Come and look”.
