Amur River region is developing ethnographic tourism: an Evenki village is to be created next to Pervomayskoye settlement in the Tynda district of the region. Living environment of this Siberian ingenious nation will be re-created here in 6 raw-hide tent, hunting lodge, sheds for reindeers and gift shop which appear there by 2011.
Moreover, the complex will contain bath house, workshop and museum. The project is called Revival and it is being financed from the federal and local budgets.
Evenki is a small Siberian ingenious group. Their traditional lifestyle includes hunting, deer farming and breeding fur animals. Traditional cuisine is northern, with much meat, fish and reindeer milk. Traditional faith is shamanism, worships of animals and fire. The new ethnographic complex is to introduce different aspects of traditional Evenki culture in their living envirovment.
